Hancock Baby Animals
Today we had another wonderful time at Hancock Shaker Village, located at 1843 West Housatonic St, in Pittsfield, Ma.
The baby animals event runs through May 8th. Admission was $20 for adults, $8 (ages 13-17), and free for children below 12. We did attend the first weekend the event began and then returned a few days ago to view the sites we missed.
We arrived about 30 minutes before the 11 am opening on both of our visits, and it was good we did. The parking was straightforward, with plenty of overflow parking. Especially on the weekends, the village fills up quickly. I would highly recommend arriving as early as possible.
There were plenty of staff members who greeted and directed us to the ticket check-in. Once on-site, there are plenty of buildings to walk through with a short hiking trail. Your party will be given stickers to wear while on the property. Maps are available at the ticket counter as well.
